<3 US - Red, white & blue

On this, what a lot of people feel is a historical day for our friends across the pond, I thought I'd play a little tribute with this look by keeping to a familiar colour palette. I hope you're all currently dressed to impress and having a right old knees up over there!

<3 US - Soft Autumn

The crisp autumn weather makes me yearn for some softness to protect me from the chilly winds. It's time to dig out your scarves and hats and wrap up. This is an outfit to comfort you on your way to work or to kick colourful leaves around in the park.

<3 US - Grown Up Rock Chick

Perhaps I'm feeling in a rebel mood today, but for some reason I felt a strong urge to build a more 'grown-up' look around an old classic, the motorcycle jacket. It's an item that gives a rock'n'roll edge to any outfit, but here I've tried to tone the effect down with an earthy coloured dress and some classy accessories.

Another thing relating to buying from the States. I came across this site called Shop any American store, which, if it works as well as it promises, should make ordering from American stores a lot more straightforward. Basically, it allows you to look for stuff you want in any online store, tell them the item numbers, and they'll order all the things and send them to you in one shipment. If anyone has any experiences ordering through them I'd love to hear from you!

<3 US - Power Trip

There are a lot of bargains to be had in American stores and luckily these days a fair few of them ship overseas. Just remember to leave some cash tucked away for the possible import duty (even with the shipping cost and import duty, you can get proper bargains with the current exchange rate), and then when your parcel doesn't get caught in the customs, you'll feel like you're getting a cashback!

Simplicity is sometimes the key to a powerful look. A killer pair of heels will transform the comfiest of outfits into a look to be taken seriously.

While browsing the shops across the Atlantic, I also came across these great sales currently running.

<3 US - China Girl

The beautiful kimono dress from b&lu was the inspiration for this look. I wanted to team it up with items that would work together to create a glamorous boho look, but the dress would work just as well worn over a pair of jeans or leggins for a more relaxed look.

<3 US - Get Cute

There are a lot of bargains to be had in American stores and luckily these days a fair few of them ship overseas. Just remember to leave some cash tucked away for the possible import duty (even with the shipping cost and import duty, you can get proper bargains with the current exchange rate), and then when your parcel doesn't get caught in the customs, you'll feel like you're getting a cashback!

I felt like putting together something cute with a clear colour palette.
